Known Exporter Scams

This page is dedicated to bringing to light any know exporters who steal people's money by not deliverying promised vehicles. Please note, while the webmaster does everything possible to make sure all information posted is accurate, we cannot take responsibility for allegations of stolen money or non-performing exporters. However, we will provide as much proof as possible to support said claims.

Japan

The lucky first exporter, and reason for starting this section, is Carrage Co. in Kani Gifu Japan. They are multiple offenders at not deliverying what is promised.

At least 5 cases of their dishonesty is known thus far, and the author of this section has sufficent proof as to the tricks that Carrage staff are carrying out. Carrage Co had posted vehicles for sale on tradecarview.com and accepting money for vehicles. They would take the money, then give excuses to the customer as to why the car didn't make it on the ship to be sent to the customer's home port. For several reported cases, this sort of trickery has continued for more than 6 months. Finally, the customers demand their money back, and receive no reply as to when they will receive a refund. Some customers have got replies, allbeit weeks after they email Carrage, asking them to wait, but given no specific date. When pressed for a definate date as to when the customers will be refunded, the emails are not replied to.

The continued scam

Carrage is no longer listing on tradecarview.com, but they now appear on Alibaba a world-wide business trade site. They claim to have over 1000 vehicles, but when visited by the author, the Carrage car yard can only hold about 30 cars.

As tradecarview.com and Alibaba don't check on if the listing company really has the goods to sell, listings cannot be trusted. As well, as the victims of this latest scam can confirm, when they contacted tradecarview about the problem with Carrage Co., they said they were not responsible for the actions of people who list on their site. So, its certainly buyer beware with tradecarview
